Help Ross access critical cancer treatment
Active Since 28/07/2026
To my lovely supporters, old and new, I wanted to update on how my week has been.
I was discharged from the Ron Johnson Ward on Monday, having spent time there fighting two infections and getting a break from chemotherapy for one cycle. That gave me a genuinely lovely week at home, recovering and rebuilding not just my strength but my confidence, which has been tested recently.
Monday was my 7 year wedding anniversary, so we went for dinner to celebrate. Through the week I got to visit Richmond Park with Stanley, my dog, and spend some time in nature, which was calming and restorative in a way I really needed. Saturday I celebrated a friend’s birthday, getting dressed up for dinner at his house. Then today, Sunday, I visited Bournemouth, my hometown, to see my mum and dad and extended family, the first time I’ve been back since my diagnosis. A lot of positive moments in one week, and they’ve reminded me exactly what this fight is worth.
Throughout all of it, I’ve been taking care of myself, banking the energy I do have for the things that matter most, and resting as much as needed.
Now I have until Thursday to prepare for my next round of treatment, full power this time!
Thank you, as always, for being with me through this
